Heist Construction is a second-generation, family-owned contracting company serving Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Thousand Oaks for over 30 years. Founded in 1977 by Joseph Heist Sr., and now led by Joseph Heist Jr. since 1998, our company has built a reputation rooted in craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to detail.
We specialize in custom home remodels, full-scale renovations, luxury upgrades, and ground-up builds—transforming houses into personalized works of art. Our Legacy
In loving memory of Joseph Heist Sr.
Joseph Heist Sr. laid the foundation by obtaining his Contractors license in 1976. Through out his career he was praised for his attention to detail and deep connections with sub-contractors throughout the valley. His vision and dedication were passed down to his son Joseph Heist Jr. and the pride and quality of our work has been maintained throughout our 50+ years in business.
A company rooted in the Southern California and family owned and operated. He worked on strictly referrals because he valued the trust of his customers. Surviving off referrals alone was his true testament to the quality of service he provided both in the construction of homes, but also in the quality of service received from start to finish.
